Abstract

Imaging aspects tumour biology in the cancer patient can be used for tumour detection, grading, monitoring of treatment response and, using intra-operative imaging, can be used to guide surgical resection.  This session, which should be of interest to both basic scientists and clinicians, will describe functional imaging methods that are used in the clinic.  These include PET, MRI and intraoperative fluorescence imaging.
