Abstract

Molecular Imaging continues to provide unique solutions to interrogating biology in living subjects. With the growth of immunotherapy there are important questions that molecular imaging can help to answer. These questions include is the immunotherapy actually working as intended early after administration. I will show examples in which we are using molecular imaging to track immunotherapies such as CAR-T cell thearpy in patients by using PET reporter gene technology. I will also show approaches to repeatedly track activated T cells anywhere in the subject in order to determine response to a given immunotherapy. These molecular imaging approaches should help to optimize immunotherapies in a given individual allowing full realization of this important strategy in the treatment of cancer.
